I am a TRC teacher and my students come from a low socioeconomic environment that has little to no support from their parents and the community. Our school is safe haven for some of my students that has no home support for their education. Due to Hurricane Harvey, my school is being shared with another school that was severely affected by the storm. Resources are very limited and my students are feeling the impact. My students are thirsty to learn more about science but we lack a lot of resources including technology that most schools have.
