The Lego table will meet students right at their height and will also help them to develop basic sorting and organizational skills. The different Lego and Duplo sets will provide opportunities to explore and create with a variety of materials and to tap into their creative mindsets.
Legos are not just for playtime...students can count the studs, explore dimensions, build towers, and begin to develop part, part, whole thinking. These materials will provide my students opportunities to have lots of fun while developing critical thinking skills. Many students don't have access to these materials outside of the school setting and will enrich their learning experiences.
