The keiki (children) of Nanakuli High and Intermediate School are kind, grateful, and full of love. Family always comes first in Nanakuli. While there is much beauty to be found in Nanakuli, there is also a lot of pain. Money is a big factor, which causes some students having to miss school in order to watch younger siblings, or students not having enough money to buy school supplies/school uniforms.
