Having a class set of scales will make it possible for my students to go deeper into chemistry concepts. My students need to be able to perform labs in an efficient manner. Currently, my students share a couple of scales. This makes doing a quality lab in 50 minutes hard to do. Being able to let each group use the pocket scales will help change how they view lab activities and the challenges of chemistry. Many of these students would like to attend 4 year colleges and I believe with these supplies, my students will break that barrier down, learn important skills, and propel into a career in a career in the sciences

About my class
