The best way for children to learn is to become completely immersed in an experience. After reading "Wonder," by RJ Palacio, I knew that this book has the ability to transport my students into the life of Auggie, a ten-year-old boy with an extraordinary face, who must overcome great challenges when he starts going to school for the first time. With 20 copies of this book, all of my students will get to read this amazing book and participate in class discussions about its central themes.
This book will help my kids understand that choosing to be kind is the best decision in life.
