I would love to create a student centered approach to teaching multiplication and division to my students. Many of my students struggle immensely in memorizing their multiplication facts and applying multiplication to division.
I would love to create a special center for my students to work in small groups, to help foster a fun environment to help teach them their multiplication facts in a fun and unique way! The students will use this technology and manipulatives to interact with one another and not only learn, but build social skills! Teaching at a Title I school limits a lot of the resources that my children are exposed to. Having a project like this funded would be incredible for them!
