The supplies selected will be used to create STEM Bins to support those early finishers during morning work and throughout the day during our Project Base Learning segments. STEM Bins are engaging, hand-on solutions for early finishers and centers. The various supplies will allow for various bins to be provided or selected for students. In providing STEM Bins to be used throughout the day, allows students to think divergently, inventively and imaginatively. Students are also solving a problem with specified constraints, building creative design skills and apply structures to real-world designs. Each STEM Bin activity will be aligned with the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) for students in the 2nd grade and above.
