One area we are working on in class is being able to work with partners and teams to complete tasks or projects. This requested iPad will help with this through the use of apps that track students. This information can then help with parent communications. The use of this iPad and the apps will help my students to know how their work habits and behavior will affect their team and the class as a group. They will be more engaged with the curriculum because they will see how positive behavior and working as a team can earn rewards as well as good grades. They will see visual reminders as the apps will be posted on the digital projector. The iPad can also be used for research, math skill practice, online comprehension quizzes and digital books.
