I work with Gifted and Talented students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. My Title I school does not always have the funds to purchase extras like art supplies, poster board, and binders for every student.
Each GT student is expected to complete multiple projects each year, so we need a lot of supplies! Things like rubber cement, markers, binders, and poster board are used very quickly in my room.
I also have a very small classroom. I like for my students to have the freedom to move around while they work, so flexible seating allows me to offer seating options other than the floor!
