This year we were given a room to use for our music classes for the first time! In previous years, I was on a cart going room to room. Many of the instruments and supplies I wanted to use with my students, I simply wasn't able to put them on a cart.
Having Boomwhackers allows us to begin creating young, hands-on music lovers for life! I teach my students to be music water walkers and not to be afraid to try new music things. The first rule to walking on water is to first get out of the boat!
We will use the Boomwhackers to visually reinforce the concept of steady beat and cooperative learning skills. My students and I are excited about the possibilities. My students and I have begun to organize our music room and we look forward to any supplies we may receive. Our school district has financial challenges but that is okay because there is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in. We are hoping for a little light from Donors Choose! Awaiting to be of service to my students, I remain. Thanks!
