A lot of these materials are basic needs for the classroom that the students are constantly using. The dry erase markers dry out, and the headphones break. The headphones have been a major need and we have never had enough for each student in the classroom, making it hard for them to focus on their work.
These materials will help the students focus and be engaged with their learning without having to worry about finding the materials needed to do their work .
Technology friendly lessons on iPads are not as effective due to hearing other iPads because they do not have headphones to listen to. Chart paper, Mr. Sketch Markers, Sharpie markers all help create interactive anchor charts for the students to reference when working.
The tissues are an extreme necessity for my classroom as my students have a lot of allergies and are constantly going through tissues. I find myself always asking other teachers for tissues, I would love to be able to have a box of tissues at each students groups of desks so there are no more distractions of getting up out of their seats to ask for a tissue.
Lastly, crayons are a high need because we are currently learning all about birds and drawing many pictures of different birds and drawing them accurately, including color.
Thank you for ALL that you donate, every little part helps.
