Students will investigate the properties of matter using the hands-on approach making bubble wands. As students learn about physical and chemical reactions, this investigation will allow them to make connections to their learning while applying their knowledge to determine the best wand design for a bubble solution.
This learning experience will give students a fun and meaningful opportunity through the STEM approach which incorporates the basics of true science inquiry. They will hypothesize, design and construct an investigation to determine which type of wand will demonstrate the best way to make bubbles with the solution that is provided to them.
