iPads are not only so motivating and fun for my students, but they provide multiple ways to expose them to literacy, comprehension, and academic tasks through various apps. There are also communication apps that can give my students a voice to say, “I need help” with the press of a button. These devices allow for my students to communicate in various ways. Not only will these devices aid in communication, they will help to decrease frustration in students. By giving access to voice output devices in the classroom my students will not only be able to communicate their needs but also engage with one another in a meaningful way. Just because our students don't talk, doesn't mean they don't have something to say!
