My name is Nicole Grimaldi. I have a 12:1:1 classroom in Brooklyn, NY. My students love to learn, and really enjoy reading time. However, despite getting some donations, I do not have enough leveled reading books for my students. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help us out! Below is the passage my kids wrote for your all.
We all live in New York City, and we love to learn. We have one teacher, and three classroom aides. Our teachers help us learn and most of all, love to have fun with us!
One of our favorite things is reading time. However, the city cannot afford to have books for everyone. So we decided to fundraise to in order to get books that are appropriate for our reading level! Leveled reading books allow us to have confidence in ourselves as readers. When we have confidence, we are more likely to want to learn more and get to the next level!
