Students gather for carpet time multiple times a day in the classroom. Having a carpet that has space for each student will allow students to focus and be more engaged during carpet time learning.
The cozy carpet also will allow for easy groupings of students when it's time to work on a project or even line up to go somewhere. Each student having their own spot makes them ready to learn each time we gather as a class.
A comfy place to sit will make a difference by allowing the students to feel safe and comfortable in their classroom environment.
