I am trying to create a reading center in my classroom! Someplace for my students to get comfy and feel at home to cozy up and read a book! My reading area is older stuff left from the previous teacher and offers nowhere to sit other than an old rug on our tile floor.
I would use the bouncy busy chairs for those who need to move to stay focused, and bean bags to sit/read instead of just sitting always at their desks.
New, colorful bins are needed to organize my books to help display and grab the attention of my students and make it feel warmer and inviting to find a book.
I would like to be able to have a place and space to connect with my students other than at the whiteboard.
