I have a wonderful class of students who keep me on my toes and inspire me to improve my practice everyday. My classroom is an inclusive community where students learn to embrace each other's differences and ideas. 30% of my students are english language learners or bilingual. Over 60% qualify for free or reduced lunch. My students have taught me how to say hello in 10 languages. Though many of my families face economic hardships, my students prove to be resilient. Many families in our school are experiencing homelessness and others are in low-income housing. Despite this, my students have the enthusiasm to learn everyday. Our families have love & care to support students, though additional financial support is necessary to bridge the acheivement gap. It is my goal to provide equity in the classroom and assure families that their students are getting the best education possible. Thank you for supporting my students!
