I work in a title one school where more then 50% of the students receive free or reduced lunch. Many times some of our kids come to school hungry. This can negatively affect their performance in class. Standardized testing is coming up and I need my kids to focus.
Snacks in the class will take help in a big way. The kids can earn the snacks. This will be a positive incentive that helps with classroom management. This will help the classroom setting with less chaotic behaviors. The kids in return can focus on their work. Brain food will go a long way in the class. Perhaps, I could use some brain food now to write a clearer description.
