I teach around 700 bright and imaginative kindergarten through fifth graders. These students mostly come from poverty but come equipped with drive and wonder. We are over 90% free and reduced lunch and are a Title 1 school. Our school is represented by over 30 languages and because our city is a refugee center, many of our students arrive from places of conflict and strife.
