Our school is a Title I school in Upstate South Carolina. We have a poverty rate of over 95%. 46% of our population speak English as a second language. Our students come from homes with little or no support for school activities, homework and especially physical fitness. With the rise in childhood obesity being a large problem, I look for ways to make physical fitness fun. Our students do not get to go hiking on the beautiful trails that are in our backyard, but I can give them a fun while, helping them get fit!
