Offering alternate seating options in class will not only engage students, but will give them the ability to move while they learn, all without interrupting the lesson. This will especially help the ones that lean back in their chairs, they have tipped over too many times!
I have some future drummers in my class! They are always tapping their pencils. I'd like to give them something that they can tap on that doesn't make me go crazy. The drummer pads would be a great solution!
I'm always looking for ways to motivate them and reward participation, I have some kids that would read anything if it meant they got to shoot a basket. Read a paragraph? Shoot a basket. Explained a math problem? Shoot a basket. Just had a really great day? Shoot a basket!
