I teach in an inner city school. My students frequently have little experience with literature before school. As a third grade teacher, I'm always trying to find more ways to provide interesting books for all my students. I believe it is important to have numerous styles and genres for them.
We need all types of literature. I want to have a wide variety of genres, so all children can find and read a book that interests them. Our titles include Geronimo Stilton, Cam Jansen, A to Z Mysteries and many more. The books provided will increase my students comprehension, team building skills and love of reading.
With the addition of these books in my classroom, the students will be able to engage in meaningful book talks, have interesting books no matter their reading levels, and develop a life time love of reading.
