I am a second grade teacher in a high poverty school in Norman, Oklahoma. My students face a lot of obstacles in every day life, that students else where may never face. Despite these challenges they face, my goal is to keep them motivated and focused to become life-long learners and dreamers, technology, building relationships, guided inquiry, and learning to be self-motivated.
Since I am on early childhood educator, I know I must set the foundation for their future, to make them love school for the years to come. My students love to learn, love to read, love to create, love to expand their knowledge all while having fun! My goal is to make learning fun and meaningful for everyone. I want to cultivate an environment where my students love to learn and work hard to succeed. I feel making learning fun will make them want to do well, and push themselves further in my class, and for their future to come.
