The process of creating art for my talented and creative students has been severely curtailed by the COVID-19 crisis and the closure of our school. Our school studio was an incubator for creative expression and a refuge for emotional growth. Not having access to our studio and its essential tools such as drawing boards and art supplies will prevent my students from fully experiencing the visual arts program I planned for this year.
The 162-piece Art, Painting & Drawing Set, and Sketch Pads I am requesting for each student will allow them to create an art studio in their home.
Making a donation will have a lifelong impact on my students. It will provide them with the resources to create their own home studio, giving them the opportunity not only to complete their high school IB portfolio but to continue their lifelong creative journey.
