All kids this generation love technology. I want them to be able to have an unplugged option for coding. I think it is important for students to be able to work together to solve problems. This age group of students have not had a regular school year yet. They have not been able to collaborate and work together because of the social distancing Covid has created. This project will help them be able to work together to solve problems while still being able to keep socially distant. Computer Science prepares students for the jobs of the future. I want to give our students an opportunity to grow their computer science skills so they are prepared for any opportunities available to them as they grow. If I am able to get this project funded the students will be able to do the unplugged driver and navigator portion for paired programming. This will help keep the students actively engaged and eager to learn more!
