Hi! I'm Ms. Tasha, a kindergarten teacher at a public school in Harlem. I do a lot of project-based art activities with students during our Social Emotional Learning Block in class. These are mainly arts and craft items, academic center/station items, and sensory items. These art supplies will allow students to express themselves through art. The sensory and academic items will be used to help students who need special accommodations to cope with some of the trauma they have faced while being out of school during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused them needing a great deal of adjustment to catch up socially, emotionally, and academically.
