My classroom has 18 first grade students in it this year. We are located in a small, rural farming community. We are a Title 1 school. More than 75% of our students are on free/reduced lunches. Most of my students come from low income families where their daily needs are not being met. Over half of my students are below grade level. With that being said, we have a lot of ground to cover over the course of the school year. But we can do it!
