Reading in kindergarten can be difficult for some kids. My goal is to help my students find the right books to help them love to read. Finding appropriate books that are interesting and are on level for my students is hard. These leveled readers will help my students build confidence and help them find books that are comfortable and on their level. Research shows children have less frustration when text is appropriate to their reading level. Having a classroom library filled with different leveled books will help the children explore and feel confident in choosing the right books for them.
