As the school year progresses my students and I compiled a list of books that they would love to read this school year during our weekly book club.
The first book they selected was The Kid Who Invented the Popsicle Stick by Don Wulffson to learn about those who worked hard to be creative and follow their dreams. The next book is Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell to learn about survival and the beautiful world around us. The last selection is Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli to learn about race and tolerance.
We would be forever grateful to be about to receive the novels listed above.
