The ELMO will allow students to project live what they are doing on a sheet of paper or demonstration. They can come up and have whatever they want to show the class projected.
As the teacher, I have a disability which prevents me from walking around a whole lot in the classroom. This would give me a better way of actually showing students in real time how to do something or to project something live that students can see without standing. It would improve my instruction delivery and the students would benefit from seeing things projected.
Things that can be projected are: worksheets, flashcards, students doing a demonstration with their hands, song lyrics, math manipulatives, passages for the whole class to see together, art projects for the class to see, student work they are proud of. The list goes on and on. Science experiments and results can be projected. Maps and graphs for social studies as well.
