I teach students of varying disabilities from kindergarten to fifth grade. My school houses over 800 students. These students are faced with many challenges. 99.7% qualify for free and reduced lunch due to economic hardship. 75% of our students speak English as a second language. Over 100 of our students are currently experiencing homelessness. Against these overwhelming odds, these students attend school consistently and have a positive attitude toward learning.
