I am requesting word work activities for my kindergarten classroom These activities will help my students grow as readers. These activities will reinforce what we are learning. My students need games and activities that focus on phonemic awareness and sight words to use in small groups as well as independently during Daily 5. The items I am requesting (phonemic awareness learning centers and building words center) will empower my students to be engaged learners. They will help my students have fun and become the best readers possible all at the same time. Students will learn to work together to complete a task. My students will grow in many ways.
