I am looking to expand the analytical thinking and the depth of my student's reading by adding some high-interest book sets to my classroom. These sets will allow my student and future students to make connections to the real world and each other while partaking in book clubs that are on their independent reading level.
With the books I have selected, students will be reading an engaging fiction title and throughout their reading, we will meet and discuss many literary elements present in each texts.
These texts will be a great asset to our classroom, as it will tie into the different skills and elements that we learn and focus on, on a daily basis. I hope that all of my students will take what they learn straight outta book clubs and into their everyday reading!
