These materials will be used to create an inclusive environment for special needs students to learn through dramatic play, sensory seeking materials and adaptive seating to encourage growth and learning. Through dramatic play centers we would like to create a grocery store where students can learn turn taking, money and play skills as well as a doctor’s area and a sensory area for students having a harder time that need to have a safe place for breaks. Students will feel encouraged and engaged in morning meeting and circle times with adaptive seating choices to fit every students need.
