My school really promotes reading through the Accelerated Reading program. If my students had the SSYRA Jr. Books available to them this will build their motivation to take the AR tests for these books. Once they have read the books and taken AR tests they have the opportunity to win a charm. Giving my English Language Learners the opportunity to read and enjoy these popular books will be a great motivator to their reading success. I look forward to seeing their comprehension improve and see their love of reading grow. Having this motivation will help them for years to come.

About my class
