Getting ten-year-olds interested in reading can be a tough sell! By making the reading space something special, kids will do anything to be there/ I want to make my reading center the coveted place that kids will want to be in! By integrating flexible seating (bean bags), kids will aspire to read instead of seeing it as "homework". I'm excited to introduce my new reading center to the kids and have them WANT TO READ THERE! This new reading center is the "hook" for my reluctant readers...once they settle into their bean bags and start reading, they will soon come to the realization that is FUN!
