We are requesting rocking chairs to help them stay focused and limit sensory overload. By providing my students with rocking chairs they will be able to stay focused during lessons. They will also be able to self sooth when sitting in their seats learning. This will help them learn more in school!
The rocking chairs help students bodies keep moving, while they pay attention. Students are able to stay in their seats for longer periods of time to keep learning.
When students have a sensory overload, it is hard for them to keep their attention. They will have to calm their minds and bodies. Rocking chairs are a great way to teach them to self sooth and keep their focus longer.
