All of these materials will make a difference in my students literacy experience in our classroom. A book shelf will help organize the mentor texts our class would use for the different units of study (fiction, nonfiction, fairy tales, poems, series, etc.) Having these books on display will make them easily accessible for students to access. Further, the colorful book bins will make our classroom more inviting.
With these bins, our classroom books will be able to be organized by reading level, genre, author, topics, and holidays. Having books organized will make it easier for students to shop for books that actually interest them.
