I am a special education resource teacher in an inner city, low income school. I serve students from kindergarten through fourth grade. My students are extremely diverse, in both demographics and academics. They are the most honest, sincere, and hard working students, but they have various obstacles that interfere with their learning. In my classroom, we have various disabilities including learning disabilities, autism, behavior and emotional impairments. Every child in my classroom knows they have the potential to do great things and each day, they are building the confidence to reach those potentials.
