Carpet time, close to the teacher is where students are most engaged. This easel will give them an opportunity to share their ideas and answers.
This easel will be essential to students' learning, because they will be engaged in the lesson being taught.
We can apply this easel in all subject areas during whole group and small group. The teacher will have materials on the easel to diminish wasted time looking for manipulatives or dry erase markers. It is an organized space where both teacher and students can benefit from. Having it magnetic, also is a big benefit. Students have different learning styles and being able to stick something and it being tactile can make a difference in their learning.
