My students are awesome. They really enjoy P.E. and participating in movement activities. Some of the activities they enjoy are modified tag games, football skill drills, basketball and jump rope. After Hurricane Harvey flooded our community and school the students all showed up ready to move forward with their learning despite losing their homes and personal possessions.
My students are very energetic and willing to try new activities that involve the development of fine motor skills, team building, and good sportsmanship.
Research shows that P.E. helps students not only develop socially but enhances academic growth. Our goal is to create healthy habits while emphasizing opportunities that create well rounded learners.
