I teach an amazing 6th to 8th grade Special Day Autism Class. My students disabilities range from moderate to severe and have been identified with one of the following disabilities: Autism, Other Health Impairment, multiple disabilities, intellectually delayed and Cri-Du-Chat Syndrome.
Most of my students have difficulty verbalizing their thoughts. In my classroom we utilize technologies which assist students in learning grade level standards and promote independence.
