My students do not have the necessary exposure, skills and experiences in the field of science to help them in their education and today's fast paced, ever changing world. The items I am requesting will make it easier for them to gain the much needed exposure and experiences in the field of science. These materials will create fun, educational and exciting daily encounters with the world of science. This experience is currently not available for my students due to lack of materials.The STEM kit will allow the hands on experiences in pulleys, simple machines and magnets. The file folder games and Hot Dots will allow the students to build their independent thinking and knowledge in the 4 areas of science. The flip chart will provide an awesome visual aid for the students to reference as they are learning about the different science domains. STEM teaching materials and manipulative items are the easiest and best way to afford students opportunities in science education.
