My second grade students are in need of access to extra Technology. Our school has two dedicated computer labs (housing 30 computers each) with more than 600 students to share. In my classroom, there is one student computer. With three additional Chromebooks, a group of students will be able to access literacy and math programs online. They will have more opportunities to practice reading a variety of reading materials that are not available in our classroom library, online programs to boost Lexile levels, as well as math programs to reinforce skills. It will help my students get the skills they need to become the productive professionals they aspire to be tomorrow.
