Math is alive in Mrs. Esquivel's classes! Mrs. Esquivel travels to all of the Kinder through Fifth classrooms at Galm Elementary to do hands-on math lessons, and students are more than eager to participate. Students learn about math through the use of manipulatives, small-group instruction, and problem-solving projects and tasks. Students explore math around them and share their awesome connections with each other to learn more about numbers and number concepts. Math can be challenging at times, but students know that when they make mistakes or try hard tasks, their brains grow a little more each time. Thanks for your consideration of our classroom projects!
