My students are the most amazing kids. I teach in an urban school in California. My students have great pride in their school. My classes do a great job of interacting with one another and accepting each others' differences, since we are very culturally diverse. The students have been hit very hard by the budget cuts and really never complain about not having some of the various resources they were used to in the past. They are some of the most humble children I have ever worked with. On a day to day basis, I see these kids blossoming into young adults and it makes me proud that I have a part in shaping them into the fine young adults they are becoming. I am beyond lucky to be their teacher.
