We are learning about the scientific method and I am trying to bring some fun into science and give my students something to smile about. I do not have the funds to get all of them fidget spinners for the project so we decided to make them out of paper. they made some of the best spinners, and a student said to me..."I can't believe I finally have my very own fidget spinner." So as a reward for working so hard on our lab, I wanted to give each and everyone of them one to take home. So, the next time they are worried about food on the table, drugs in the home, someone shot in the neighborhood, maybe, just maybe, they can at least remember a fun day in science and somehow this spinner calms their mind in a life of chaos.
