At Magnolia Science Academy 6, we host up to 180 students between 6th and 8th grade in the greater Los Angeles area. Our students enjoy a quality S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) based program. With small student to teacher ratios, we are able to reach students more personally to develop a curriculum that interests them and fosters deeper learning, all the while keeping test scores among the best in the area. We are a "Title 1" school, meaning most of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. We are also home to a great many English Language Learners, and have taught English to hundreds of non-english speaking students thus far. The PE department sees every child, every day. It is made up of a small concrete play area on which lies one basketball court, and a 250 sq ft room that serves as a changing room, an escape on rainy and hot days, and the equipment storage.
