Technology is being used daily in my classroom. The students thrive in an environment with different learning outlets. Today, there are so many programs built to engage the students while furthering their academics.
Tablets will give the students access to programs that are designed for assist the learner individually. They will be able to read books at their instructional level, building reading skills and reading comprehension. By using a stylus and keyboard to manipulate certain texts within a program, students can build different motor skills.
By providing technology and the skills to use it, my students will become more confident in their academic achievement and this will carry over into their interactions outside the special education classroom.
