I want to provide my students with tools that will help them reach their full potential. Giving my students choices in their learning environment will give them ownership of their education. I have seen the few flexible seating options currently in my classroom make a tremendous difference for my students. I have seen a yoga ball help a struggling reader concentrate and a lap desk help an antsy student stay on task. Giving them a choice in their environment motivates them to do their very best. These students thrive when they are active and all of these tools will come in handy.
